The two community colleges that make up the San Jose-Evergreen Community College District (SJECCD) San José City College and Evergreen Valley College have more than 1.4 million square feet of building space and 160 acres of land, serving 22,000 students per semester. Thanks to the passage of Measure G Bonds in 2004 and 2010, the San José City and Evergreen Valley campuses are in the process of being transformed into the most modern, best-equipped post-secondary education facilities in the Silicon Valley. Older buildings are being demolished and new academic and student activity buildings that meet the needs of today's students are being constructed in their place.
San José City and Evergreen Valley Colleges have recently completed Facility Master Plans which envision the physical campuses in 2025. The Master Plans are available for review on the Measure G Bond website. Environmental Impact Reports as required by the California Environmental Quality Act are also available on the Measure G Bond website.
