Overview

The Office of the Vice Chancellor of Administrative Services is responsible for the overall administration and coordination of most administrative programs and services for the District. Among these programs are:

  • Contracts
  • Accounting
  • Budgeting
  • Public Safety
  • Emergency Preparedness
  • Insurance
  • Utilities
  • Purchasing & Warehousing
  • Payroll
  • Physical Plant Construction & Maintenance
  • Capital Bond Management

As the chief financial officer for the District, the Vice Chancellor of Administrative Services is responsible for preparation and presentation of the annual district budget to the Chancellor and Board of Trustees, and for overall management of the district budget throughout the year. This position also serves as treasurer and ex officio board member for the San Jose-Evergreen Community College District Foundation.
