The San José-Evergreen Community College District conducts routine website assessments to ensure that District websites comply with the accessibility requirements of section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, including W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
It is of primary importance that all of our website visitors, including those with accessibility needs, are able to access and use our websites without barriers. The District continues to make every effort to ensure our websites are ADA compliant and adhere to Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Levels A, AA, and AAA. While we are in compliance with the majority of these regulations, we continue dedicating resources toward mitigating remaining issues.
