OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Department is responsible for the receipt and distribution of materials purchased by the District and Campus. The Warehouse is also responsible to help with coordinating the return of incorrect or damaged materials if necessary. The Warehouse is responsible for coordinating disposition of surplus equipment, including pick up, storage and sale or disposal. Maintaining Records Storage & shredding of confidential material and records.

ANNOUNCEMENT
On January 15, 2021, Warehouse will launch our new Work Order Self Service System Portal https://services.sjeccd.edu/TDClient/1862/Portal/Requests/ServiceCatalog?CategoryID=17065, powered by TeamDynamix.

TeamDynamix is an Enterprise Service Management (ESM) tool that provides a consistent interface for faculty, and staff to explore and request Warehouse services.

It will allow users to track their warehouse requests, whether submitted by email, phone, online or in-person. The portal is fully searchable, and will include all support service requests entered into the new ticketing system.

All work orders submitted on the system are categorized and prioritized when assigned to the respective staff. The system allows the Warehouse Office to track and follow up on all work orders submitted to ensure an appropriate response to the end-user. The end-user also has the ability to track the status of the work order that was submitted and request information on any delays.  When the work order is completed the end-user is notified by email and the work order is closed out in the system.

The District Warehouse TeamDynamix ESM tool provides the following features for Work Requests:

  • A portal to request District Warehouse Services
  • Work is prioritized and assigned to the proper staff member
  • Provides Contact Information for District Warehouse
  • Ability to submit, view, and revise active tickets
  • View history of past tickets

And login with your District email address and password, and then choose submit a Warehouse Request.

Work Order System
