Accessibility Statement

The San José-Evergreen Community College District, on behalf of San Jose City College, Evergreen Valley College, and Community College Center for Economic Mobility, has begun conducting a comprehensive website assessment, including testing and remediation, to ensure that District websites comply with the accessibility requirements of section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and implementing regulations including W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. The District began its assessment in August 2017, and completed much of this work by January 2018.

It is of primary importance that all of our website visitors, including those with disabilities, are able to access and use our websites without barriers. The District continues to make every effort to ensure our websites are ADA compliant and adhere to Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Levels A, AA, and AAA.

While we are in compliance with the majority of these regulations, we continue dedicating resources toward mitigating remaining issues.
